    % compile_et imap/imap_err.et
        Error Table "imap" has base -1904809472

    % compile_et imap/nntp_err.et
        Error Table "nntp" has base -1567905280

    % compile_et imap/mupdate_err.et
        Error Table "mupd" has base -1627742720

doesn't look like the reference you're looking for.
