Duplicate folders in LIST "" * response

Hi,

for the last week we've had trouble with our webmail system. It's based on
IMP/Horde 2.2 and works against Cyrus IMAPd 2.2.12. Some sessions suddenly
hung and ate up lots of CPU time. Today we figured out what was wrong. I
had accidentally created a mailbox called user.a0071. We use the unix
hierarchy separator. The webmail sessions hung when they tried to list all
folders. Using Cyrus' logging feature we found this:

<1112104687<00000008 LIST "" *
>1112104687>* LIST (\Noinferiors) "/" "INBOX"
* LIST (\HasNoChildren) "/" "Deep Blue"
* LIST (\HasNoChildren) "/" "Sent"
* LIST (\HasNoChildren) "/" "Trash"
* LIST (\HasNoChildren) "/" "cert-list"
* LIST (\HasNoChildren) "/" "context"
* LIST (\HasNoChildren) "/" "curl-list"
* LIST (\HasNoChildren) "/" "ftest"
* LIST (\HasNoChildren) "/" "imp-list"
* LIST (\HasNoChildren) "/" "mime-mail.1"
* LIST (\HasNoChildren) "/" "mime-mail.2"
* LIST (\HasNoChildren) "/" "out.log"
* LIST (\HasNoChildren) "/" "posted"
* LIST (\HasNoChildren) "/" "procmail.log"
* LIST (\HasNoChildren) "/" "proctest"
* LIST (\HasNoChildren) "/" "received"
* LIST (\HasNoChildren) "/" "rrzk"
* LIST (\HasNoChildren) "/" "sent-mail"
* LIST (\HasNoChildren) "/" "spam"
* LIST (\HasNoChildren) "/" "user/aumuellm/Mail/list/ag-cvs"
* LIST (\HasNoChildren) "/" "user/aumuellm/Mail/list/opensg"
* LIST (\HasNoChildren) "/" "user/aumuellm/Mail/list/opensg-commits"
* LIST (\HasNoChildren) "/" "user/aumuellm/Mail/list/osg-user"
* LIST (\HasNoChildren) "/" "user/aumuellm/Mail/list/performer"
* LIST (\HasNoChildren) "/" "Shared Folders/user.a0071"
* LIST (\HasNoChildren) "/" "Shared Folders/betrieb-aktuell"
* LIST (\HasNoChildren) "/" "Shared Folders/mailmigration"
* LIST (\HasNoChildren) "/" "Shared Folders/user.a0071"
00000008 OK Completed (0.040 secs 29 calls)

For some reason the mailbox "Shared Folders/user.a0071" is listed twice. I
guess that's what throws IMP. Mulberry had no trouble with this. Still I
wonder why Cyrus lists the mailbox twice and if it's a bug?

Cheers, Sebastian Hagedorn
