Db Error

Hi,

Following a disk problem, I had database inconsistency:

lmtp[25617]: [ID 866726 local6.warning] DBERROR db4: fatal region error 
detected; run recovery

I solved the problem by suppressing databases files (*.db files and db 
directories) except mailboxes.db (and cyrus.* files in user mailboxes of 
course) and recreating directories (with mkimap).

Everything is back, but I would like to know what are the side effects 
of removing the db directory.
