yes indeed, i have exactly seen this, i have lots of the mydelete: starting 
and committing these  
transactions and a summary how many messages were expunged (something about 
300 from some thousand).   
the same for the tls_prune. 
 
i also haven't seen the cyrus going crazy that way, but some guys are saying 
that the cached imap connection "eats mails". It was just my first intention 
to ask this list, as i found these two scheduled jobs starting the deletion 
process. 
So I'll go, asking the kde-pim list.
