Cyrus Imap Questions

hello
i read some (not all) docs of cyrus imap
but i didnt found a real solve for my problem.
is it possible to have "2" mailboxes , or that a user can choose which he 
wants ...(imap or pop3)
do i need 2 servers (my old qpopper and cyrus)?
