Hi,

some of our incoming mail (mostly spam) has weird characters in the
envelope from. Sendmail is passing these mails as usual to cyrus, but
lmtp is refusing the accept them. Does anyone have similar problems with
such mails? We're running cyrus 2.1.16.

We are thinking about either letting sendmail block such envelopes
or hacking lmtp to accept such mails...

This is from the sendmail error report mail:

... while talking to frontend2.mx.speedkom.net.:
>>> MAIL From:<O[5-]@dcemail.com> SIZE=2478
<<< 501 5.5.4 Syntax error in parameters
501 5.6.0 Data format error
