automatically delete emails after a few days

Strange...

I use % instead of * - is that just a version difference thing, or should I
be using * ?

I'm using:

cmd="ipurge -X -d 6 -f user/%/SPAM"

I use the -X so that emails with a date in the distant future (furthest I've
seen is 2012) don't stick around until then.
