This msg is asking for the type of plug in u r using to get into ur mysql 
database that ur using for cyrus ...

u must check what kind of plug-in u r  using in /etc/imapd.conf file  as 
follows :

sasl_auxprop_plugin: sql

then u must check if php4-sql module is installed to ur machine or not ..
bcoz maybe it is looking for that module to use and it can't find it ..
