Permissions change on /var/imap/quota

Hello!

   I'm trying to read /var/imap/quota/<letter>/user.<lettter>surname and is
   impossible.
   I changed permissions to give access to all users in the mail group,
   but [i don't know why] the permissions are resotred to:

   cyrus.mail 600

   then, mail users cannot read.

   How can i change that?

   [i think is a umask problem, but how can i configure that]
