Cyrus-IMAPd logs by default with syslog facility LOCAL6, while some
Linux distributions do change that at compile time (and only then this
is changeable) to something like MAIL. So have a close look at your
syslog configuration and change it to your needs. For instance, if you
don't log LOCAL6.debug, these information will not go to any log file.
LOCAL6.info should be ok in most situations.
