Hi,
This may be very simple, but I aways encounter this question, how can I
add sasl2 support to cyrus-imapd? But alot of answer go into saslauthd.
I would like to build a mail server with postfix, cyrus-imapd and openldap.
I have installed the following programs:
Postfix 2.1.4 with openldap22 support
Openldap 2.2 with sasl2 and db42 support
cyrus-imapd22 with db42 openldap22 and sasl2 support
cyrus-sasl2 with sasldb2 (have saslauthd enabled), db42, and openldap22
support
The sasl2 is in trouble. I don't know whether I should disable saslauthd
in the configuraiton before it start the compilation.
If I don't use saslauthd, how can I authenticate user, create the first
new user and add new user and password to the openldap backend db?
Thanks for your help
Sam
