Hi,
today I had a problem with a Cyrus server that was ok since a long time.
The server has less than 200 users but a lot of emails (about 40 GB in
620.000 messages).
Relevant log files are below. From that point after, lmtpunix died every
time it was called until I deleted the content of the db directory and
deliver.db and restarted master.
The content of the db directory was the following :
total 11460
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Oct 11 12:54 .
drwxr-x--- 13 cyrus mail 4096 Oct 11 15:25 ..
-rw------- 1 cyrus cyrus 16384 Oct 11 12:46 __db.001
-rw------- 1 cyrus cyrus 278528 Oct 11 12:46 __db.002
-rw------- 1 cyrus cyrus 98304 Oct 11 12:46 __db.003
-rw------- 1 cyrus cyrus 10485757 Oct 11 11:28 log.0000000017
-rw------- 1 root root 1259 Oct 11 11:29 log.0000000018
-rw------- 1 cyrus mail 4 Sep 22 19:36 skipstamp
I have no idea why log.0000000018 has permission root:root.
Any ideas ?
I also noticed that tnx number are very high and the last one was
2147552789 that is near the max value of a four bytes signed integer.
Is normal to see such high numbers ?
Thank you
