Tell me, what is the db.h file? upon doing a rpm -ql db4-4.0.14-20 I
got this output:

/lib/libdb-4.0.so
/usr/lib/libdb-4.0.so
/usr/lib/libdb_cxx-4.0.so
/usr/share/doc/db4-4.0.14
/usr/share/doc/db4-4.0.14/LICENSE
/usr/share/doc/db4-4.0.14/README
/usr/share/doc/db4-4.0.14/images
/usr/share/doc/db4-4.0.14/images/api.gif
/usr/share/doc/db4-4.0.14/images/next.gif
/usr/share/doc/db4-4.0.14/images/prev.gif
/usr/share/doc/db4-4.0.14/images/ps.gif
/usr/share/doc/db4-4.0.14/images/ref.gif
/usr/share/doc/db4-4.0.14/images/sleepycat.gif

I also tried a find yet the only db.h found was from my newer bdb install.
(damn RPMs!)

Here is the output of my ld.so.conf file:

/usr/kerberos/lib
/usr/X11R6/lib
/usr/lib/sane
/usr/lib/qt-3.1/lib
/usr/local/bdb/lib
/usr/local/ssl/lib
/usr/local/lib/sasl2

ldconfig seems to be the tool required to link libraries but I do not
know how to use it correctly. If you guys can give me a hint it woul
be greatly appreciated. Thanks
