Cyrus + LDAP Suggestions/Help

I agree, I should read up first.  I still would be very interested in
hearing this group's thoughts on my concerns and how they deal with issues
of user migration, user renaming, etc.  These are typical support issues.
What I'm trying to do is determine what open source software would be best
to use for our mail backend.

The SMTP + LDAP part has basically been decided.  Postfix + LDAP just was
plain faster under stress than Qmail + LDAP and Sendmail + LDAP.

The IMAP part has been trickier.  UW IMAP had some irreconcilable issues
with regards to LDAP authentication.  Cyrus has my stated concerns.  Courier
hasn't been configured yet but looks like it might be the way to go.
