For me, the most disturbing difference in conception between these
opponents besides the painfully missing pipe feature is that procmail
is able to create missing mailboxes on the fly, while sieve simply
bails out with an error :-(..
OTOH, the syntax of procmail files is, hmm, strange to be diplomatic,
while sieve's is quite nice and concise. I always hated rules like:
:0
* ! ^From:.*some.address
* ! ^From:.*other.address
{ }
:0 E
where/ever/
Now back to figuring out, how to plug in a custom filter into postfix
