Logging annoyance

I keep getting the following messages in syslog:

May 12 08:31:12 yoda imapd[3736]: SQUAT failed to open index 
file
May 12 08:31:12 yoda imapd[3736]: SQUAT failed

I've searched google and I understand that it is an 
innocuous message with the usual comment "turn your 
debugging off."

I can't find where my debugging is turned on.  What do I 
change to stop these messages?
