Read flags not being updated?

I have a few folders that I'm seeing in mozilla as having new mail until
I open the folder, at which point it finds the read flags. However, next
time mail is checked, it comes back as having undread messages.

Is this a cyrus issue, or something I need to bug the mozilla people about?
