log.0000000002 is created with wrong permissions!

I'm running OSX Server 10.3.3, it got Cyrus v2.1.13 installed.

After following a discussion in apple's forum it turns out like when
the log file
  -rw------- 1 cyrus mail 7684256 30 Mar 18:51 log.0000000001

reaches 10 MB it starts on a new logfile called:
  -rw------- 1 root mail 17443 31 Mar 03:48 log.0000000002

as you see above the " log.0000000002" gets created with the wrong
owner, root instead of cyrus.
This causes a logfile error and cyrus stop working until you manually
put the owner to cyrus instead of root.

Then you need to restart the service for it to work again.

Anyone got a fix for this?
Where can you change so the new logfile get created as cyrus mail
instead as the faulty permissions?
Or can you increase the logfile so it can get bigger then 10 MB before
it switch?
Or can you deleate old entries in the logfile so it never reaches the
10 MB limit?

Any help is appreciated.
