cyradm problem on RedHat 9: cm 'user.&g0l6Pw-'

Hi,

I've got a problem report from a user of my cyrus-imapd rpms who tried
to create a mailbox like this:

localhost.localdomain> cm 'user.&g0l6Pw-'
syntax error: cannot deal with `&' here

I tried it on RedHat 7.2 and it works, but it doesn't on RedHat 9. RH7.2
uses Perl 5.6.1 while RH 9 uses Perl 5.8.0.

Does anybody know what the problem could be?
