We are using the Cyrus IMAP server for a site with approx 10000 users 
and lockers are reaching 4, sometimes 5.
The number never increased in our setup.

I do not worry about the messages.

We have approx 100 imapds running and 50-60 pop3d. Delivery eats up 
approx 20 lmtpd-Processes.
