badlogin problems ( using php scripts)

Hi all,

I have Cyrus, Cyrus-sasl, running on redhat7.1 with squirrel mail as the web-mail client, everything has been configured accordingly. 

I can login as cyrus administrator and add new users in the console, but it poses a problem when I try to add new users via php scripts. The line in the php file to do this is as follows:

fp2=popen('/dev/cyradm --user cyrus --server myhost\n","w"); 

tail \log\messages shows this error   -- myhost  imapd: badlogin ( client response doesn't match what we generated), 

Anyone knows the reasons, previously they work just fine, until I changed the IP and password for cyrus using saslpasswd . I can create the mailbox manually and access them using squirrelmail no problem, only when using PHP for auto creation of mailboxes then this problem occur.
