Permission to sasl.db

Hi,

I created my cyrus admin using saslpasswd2, and would like to create
mailboxes with cyradm. However cyradm doesn't have access to
/var/lib/sasl2/sasl.db

[root at mail root]# ls -l /var/lib/sasl2/sasl.db
-rw-r-----    1 root     root        12288 Nov 17 15:54
/var/lib/sasl2/sasl.db

/etc/imapd.conf
sasl_pwcheck_method: auxprop
sasl_mech_list: PLAIN

cyradm can login no problem if I give 644 to sasl.db. Is there a better way
of doing this?
