strange notices in auth.log

In my auth.log, I've been getting: 

May 29 12:39:27 newton imap[25553]: Could not find a dlname line in .la file: 
libotp.la
May 29 12:39:27 newton imap[25553]: Could not find a dlname line in .la file:

May 29 13:26:53 newton imap[25723]: Could not find a dlname line in .la file:

I can't seem to find anything in the archives or on the net on how to resolve 
this or even what exactly the problem is.

I'm running redhat 8.0 with cyrus-sasl 2.1.10-1 and cyrus-imapd 2.2.0a
