sieve script not running?

This seems to work:

[root at medusa scriptTestDir]# ./test 216. test.bc
filing message '216.' into 'Junk Mail'

but the script still doesn't work when the mail comes into the INBOX.

Is there a way to turn on more logging to syslog?
