Is it possible to store user contact/ address book in imap server?

How so?  I cannot either drag and drop contact or calendar info into an
IMAP folder, nor can I create a folder type Calendar or Contact on my
IMAP server.  Do you have more docs on this?  Or are you talking about
something like Connector or Bynari Insight?
