Hi, Ken.

Sorry for not mentioning the obvious stuff.

Here's a listing of /var/imap:
drwxr-x--- 15 cyrus maild 466 Jul 24 19:23 .
drwxr-xr-x 21 root wheel 670 Jul 24 19:12 ..
-rw-r--r-- 1 cyrus mail 49 Jul 24 19:14 .cshrc
-rw------- 1 cyrus mail 638 Jul 24 19:39 .tcsh_history
drwx------ 3 cyrus mail 58 Jul 24 19:23 Library
drwxr-x--- 8 cyrus mail 228 Jul 24 19:23 db
-rw------- 1 cyrus mail 8192 Jul 24 19:23 deliver.db
drwxr-x--- 2 cyrus mail 24 Mar 7 2002 log
-rwxr-x--- 1 cyrus mail 1756 Jul 24 14:41 mailboxes
-rwxr-x--- 1 cyrus mail 8192 Jul 24 19:23 mailboxes.db
drwxr-x--- 2 cyrus mail 24 Mar 7 2002 msg
drwxr-x--- 60 cyrus mail 1996 Jul 24 19:25 proc
drwxr-x--- 28 cyrus mail 908 Mar 7 2002 quota
drwxrwx--- 5 cyrus maild 126 Jul 24 19:23 socket
drwxr-x--- 28 cyrus mail 908 Mar 7 2002 user

and here's /var/spool/imap:
drwxr-x--- 4 cyrus mail 264 Mar 7 2002 .
drwxr-xr-x 13 root wheel 398 Jul 24 19:05 ..
drwxr-xr-x 2 cyrus mail 24 Jul 24 20:36 stage.
drwx------ 13 cyrus mail 398 Jan 19 2003 user

From this, it seems as though ctl_cyrusdb *should* be able to archive
(assuming that it archives to either /var/imap or /var/spool/imap). I
was motivated to post the original question on the off-chance that
ctl_cyrusdb backs up in some way other than to the obvious places
(/var/imap and /var/spool/imap).

Thanks for the reply...
