Cyrus +ldap howto

Is there a how to for using cyrus  with cyrus sasl and  ldap for
passwords

I already have got this working on my machine rehdhat linux 9.0  , But
the problem is I am using it with plain text passwords in ldap. I want
to encrypt them ( any encryption , SSA CRYPT etc ) . So what changes do
I have do to  ldap.conf  and the ldap data
