Hello again,

I'm a bit confused with the CVS right now. I did a checkout as described
on the homepage by simply
checking out the module cyrus without any tag or revision. I did the
necessary changes, to get it compiling and
then I rembered you speaking of the 2.2 branch. If I now do a checkout
with -r cyrus-imapd-2_2 I get some
different files and some are even missing. So what do I have to checkout ?
First I did:

cvs -d :pserver:anoncvs at cvs.andrew.cmu.edu:/cvs co -d cyrus-imapd cyrus

and then I did like this:

cvs -d :pserver:anoncvs at cvs.andrew.cmu.edu:/cvs co -d cyrus-imapd-2_2 -r
cyrus-imapd-2_2 cyrus

What is correct ? Which one should I use ? I think without specifiying
any tag or revision I will get the
unstable in-heavy-development version, or ? And another thing then is:
There are two 2_2 tags! One is called
cyrus-imapd-2_2-base and the other cyrus-imapd-2_2 ! So which did you
actually mean with
"I'd suggest getting the 2.2 branch..." ?

Thanks again for your help! I think if I get the right branch out of
cvs, I will make it. If I can complete in getting it
done on my Solaris 8 box, I will write a liddle howto. I could find
solutions to all my questions and problems in this
mailinglist and so this howto will mainly be a collection of links to
the appropriate postings, I think!
