Getting SASL from CVS --- automake complains about errors

Rob, Ken and me have been working for making cyrus imapd and sasl to work with both autoconf 2.13 and 2.50+

Chris, as you see, these are only warnings, really the config.h.in file is created.
If you want to get rid of this warning you can take a look to bug 1408:

As Rob has stated
Rob> "make saslauthd.8" in <basedir>/saslauthd and see what happens.
This could help to see where is the problem for your host.
Also, it would be great if you could post your configure line.

This error comes from perl as automake uses perl to work.
You should upgrade your automake as the version you are using is broken:
"Unused function causing warnings with Perl 5.005_03"
