[Disksim-users] runvalid produces funny answers

Has this been always the case?  Latest version of DISKsim 3.0 from the
website, and after I get it to compile, both on CYGWIN on windows and
Redhat with 2.4.9 kernel I get some significant differences.  Are these
differences known?  Is there a fix, either in runvalid or in the code?
 

The remaining tests exercise other DiskSim components

Open synthetic workload (avg. resp. should be about 47.3ms)

disksim_run_simulation(): simulated 1027642 events

Closed synthetic workload (avg. resp. should be about 87.6ms)

Overall I/O System Response time average: 34.214280

 

Memory cache at controller (avg. resp. should be about 23.0ms)

disksim_run_simulation(): simulated 1340976 events

IOdriver Response time average: 26.168707

 

Cache device managed at controller (avg. resp. should be about 27.4ms)

disksim_run_simulation(): simulated 2105658 events

IOdriver Response time average: 28.290840

 

Simpledisk instead of original model (avg. resp. should be about 13.5ms)

disksim_run_simulation(): simulated 377019 events

IOdriver Response time average: 13.875535
