Outlook 2007 and Sasl from Debian Etch

See if you have any additional information in your auth syslog 
output (auth.log).

This would seem to be saying that the username that Outlook is 
submitting is not being found in your sasldb2 database.

Are your users stored in upper case (BENUTZER) within sasldb2?
