Cyrus IMAP Session based?

Hi,

Newbie here and have some queries, already googled and seems like theres not much resources out there :(

1)	Is Cyrus session based?
2)	If not, is there a way to make it session based during compilation
3)	Or do we have to re-engineer the codes?
