redesigning the buildsystem ...

Hi folks,


I just want you to know that I'm currently porting cyrus-sasl
to my own buildsystem: http://wiki.metux.de/public/TreeBuild

Why ?

Well, automake really suxx. The whole thing is too broken and
ill-designed than to be worth any further minute of work.
Some major points:

+ rebuilding autoconf files w/ current autotools breaks
+ crosscompiling impossible (ie. the md5global.h issue)
+ autotools ig. is too slow, totally inrobust and unreliable.
