Rename command and squat indexes

I am working on code to place squat indexes on their disk array.
I want to measure squat I/O load vs. message I/O load.  Currently
my squat indexes are in the message spool.

While working on this, I see that squat indexes are not copied/linked
into the new directory after an IMAP rename command.  Is there a
reason why squat indexes can not be copied/moved to the new directory?
