Log Message:
- Don't completely bail if the server goes away (or do_sync() fails for any
  reason).  We now fork a new child, reconnect, and keep going
- Try to reprocess work files created under our parent as long as they are
  younger than 1 hour old
- Don't try to disable Nagle's algorithm on UNIX sockets
