Wouldn?t you know it, it?s our last week. Thank you all for a wonderful summer! It was heartening to see such a great turnout over the break. If you?re a familiar face, we hope to see you in the fall; if you?re new, we hope you carry ballroom dancing with you for the rest of your days! We promise they won?t be disappointed :) Without further ado, here are your updates for this week: - Upcoming Events & Reminders - Summer Lessons - Our last day of summer lessons will be this Wednesday, August 5. The first day of Rush will be Monday, August 24th. For those of you staying in Pittsburgh, we hope to see you there! - Fall Rush - CMUBDC?s super recruitment event, Fall Rush, is right around the corner! If you are interested in helping us teach or showcase at Rush this year, please take a moment to fill out this lesson/showcase availability form! Don?t worry if it?s your first time?arrangements can be made for a veteran to teach with you! - Fall Competitions - We?re excited to announce that we have a confirmed list of competitions that we will be attending as a team! They are: Carnegie Classic (October 10); the OSU Dancesport Classic (October 23); and the DC Dancesport Inferno at UMD (November 7?8). Information for these competitions will go out on our school-year mailing list, as well as in our slack . If you are interested in competing with us in the fall, be sure to join the latter and ask secretary Eddie ejli at andrew.cmu.edu to add you to the former! Weekly Lesson Schedule - On a typical summer Monday, Christine will be joining us from 6:00?9:00pm.
