Hello Ballroom Friends,

Regular lessons this week in Rangos and PWM! Our next competition, BADC, is
this weekend, make sure to wish those who are participating good luck!

Reminders for this week (02/10-02/16) - More details below!

General:

- BADC competition fees are due Wednesday (this week)!

- Our first ballroom social this semester is on Saturday, February 22 in
Rangos at 7 pm!

- We are going ice skating on Sunday, February 23!

- Mark your calendars! Scotch Ball will be held on March 15 at St. Nick’s
Greek Orthodox Cathedral; more details next week!

- We are starting to take semester lesson payments! Check, Cash, or Cashnet

Payment Information:

We hope you are having a great time taking lessons with us! Your first two
lessons (excluding rush) are free. After that, we ask that students pay $40
and non-students pay $90 in membership dues. This amount covers all the
lessons we offer for the entire Spring semester.

BADC:
This weekend we are attending the Big Apple Dancesport Challenge (BADC),
which is hosted by Columbia University in New York City! If you signed up
by the January 25th deadline, you owe $30 for 3+ entries as a student.
Non-students pay $60 for 3+ entries. If you registered late, the fees
increase to $50 and $75 respectively. Please pay via cash, check, or CashNet

by Wednesday, February 12. Please forward CashNet receipts to
cmuballroom at gmail.com and ppanov at andrew.cmu.edu.

Your competition fees must be paid by the deadline to participate in the
competition.

Ballroom Social:

Mark your calendars! Our first social dance of the semester is
happening on Saturday,
February 22nd in Rangos Ballroom from 7pm–11pm! For the first time, we’re
featuring a Jack & Jill competition—don’t miss out! The evening will kick
off with an intro lesson (TBD), following by plenty of dancing and
refreshments! Bring your friends—the more the merrier!

   Free for all students and due-paying members

   $5 for non-member adults


Ice Skating:

We are going ice skating on the 23rd, we’d love for you to join us! Let’s
just hope ballroom dance translates to more slippery mediums! Please check
