[CMU Ballroom Dance Club]

Hello Ballroom Friends,

We are back in full swing (no pun intended…)! This week we have standard
auditions and part three and four of RUSH!!! In case you missed it, rush is
a time for anyone to come learn how to dance! All lessons are open for
beginners and we are teaching two different dances along with two different
showcases. We will also have a raffle, snacks, and beverages! Come support
our newcomers or learn how to dance yourself and bring your friends!

News

Fall Rush:

Veterans, make sure to show up and help support our recruitment! Make new
friends, dance with someone you’ve never met before, and show our newbies
what CMUBDC is all about! Bring a friend, a partner, or even a stranger!

We are tabling for the first two weeks of rush!! If you would like to table
here is the sign up sheet!

We will be tabling outside of Doherty Hall near the fence, weather
permitting!

Latin Lessons:

Dmitry is away at a competition this week - so we will just have open
practice space from 5-7pm in Rangos! See you all there and get prepared for
rush after!

Carnegie Classic:

We are hosting Carnegie Classic, our annual home competition this October
12th in our very own Rangos Ballroom! We can’t wait to host competitors
from over 20 colleges and adults from across the nation. More information
on how to get involved will be out soon, including chances to volunteer,
host competitors,and compete! You can find more information on our website
carnegieclassic.com in the meantime.
