Reminder Details

DC Dancesport Inferno:
Don’t worry if you missed out because you’re in luck - there is another
competition coming up November 1st-3rd, DC Dancesport Inferno in Maryland!
This competition lasts two days and usually hosts over 800 competitors with
a large open section, a fun collaborative team match, a great TBA matching
system, discounted pricing for newcomers, and the best dancers and
showcases you will see all semester!

You can check out their website for more details
https://www.dcdancesportinferno.com/.

Please fill out the individual
<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe0vQegeaJItbvzRgWD_nm7yOn-rGW-EccUMG3spBWU-4vRMg/viewform?usp=sf_link>
and partnership
<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf2jaMJUXeT2gpF-Pyib2QNtBLpqHnCRW4ee43-aqEfC6sg_A/viewform?usp=sf_link>
commitment forms by Wednesday 10/23.. For this competition, you will also
need to register for an o2cm account, if you do not already have one,
please do that here <https://competitor.o2cm.com/Account/Register>.

A new aspect for this competition is the team match
<https://www.dcdancesportinferno.com/team-match/>. A team match is when
each team/college has two sets of four couples, classified as either rookie
and champ: where rookies are people dancing in Newcomer or Bronze and champ
is anyone who is Silver+. It’s one of the most fun aspects of competition
where everyone on the team is cheering for our couple dancing!

Winning the team match will result in the addition of points towards
DCDI’s Inferno
Brawl <https://www.dcdancesportinferno.com/inferno-brawl/>. The Inferno
Brawl is an extended competition that goes beyond team match, where couples
can earn points by finaling in any individual event/fun dance, placing in
the team match, volunteering to help TBA, and winning the Team Spirit Award
during the Team Match (we will be making signs leading up to the
competition, but beyond that we need to be super supportive and make sure
our team knows how proud we are to dance with them!!)

Note: If you plan on attending, no stones, feathers or floats are allowed
below silver. If you are competing in bronze or newcomer and do not have an
appropriate outfit - please reach out to Kyr, Brenna, or Karishma and they
will help you find an outfit in the closet that follows the guidelines!

Payment Information:

We hope you are having a great time taking lessons with us! Your first two
lessons (excluding rush) are free. After that, we ask that students pay $40
and non-students pay $90 in membership dues. This amount covers all the
lessons we offer for the entire Fall semester.

Please bring cash or a check to the table at the door or follow these
instructions to pay online. As a reminder, we cannot accept Venmo or Zelle
because of university policy.

Here are more in depth payment instructions
