Happy Dancing! Lessons are on Monday (Rangos) and Wednesday (PWM) this
week, we hope you’ve had a fantastic break! Come in on Monday to watch the
Winter Showcase from 8:30 to 9:00PM!

Snowball:

Join us 1/31-2/2 in State College, PA for The Snowball at Penn State! A
mere 2.5 hour hop from Campus, this competition is always a great time,
with double registration, free open event entries, and more! Like we do at
Carnegie Classic, they also offer dance workshops on Sunday! Register

students) early registration or by 1/24 for $20 ($10 for students) regular

Holiday Gift Exchange & Potluck:

You are cordially invited to our holiday gift exchange and potluck on
December 7 from 2-4 pm in UC Danforth. The gift exchange is closed;
everyone should have received an invite from Elfster and can see the person
they are gifting to there, but anyone else can still sign up to bring food
and attend the potluck (https://tinyurl.com/mr36act)

BADC:
This February we are attending the Big Apple Dancesport Challenge (BADC),
which is hosted by Columbia University in New York City! This competition
will take place during the weekend of February 14-16, and we are so excited
to see all of you there. Please sign up if you’d like to join us!

Students - $30 for first entry, $40 for 2 entries, $50 for 3+ entries.
Adults -  $55 for first entry, $65 for 2 entries, $75 for 3+ entries

CMU Giving Day:

The Ballroom Dance Club is more than just a student organization—it's a
space to build leadership skills, grow as a dancer, and create lasting
friendships. Whether it's competing at competitions, working closely with
dance partners, or mentoring others, students gain confidence,
communication skills, and the ability to lead and collaborate—skills that
serve them both at CMU and in life beyond graduation.

This CMU Giving Day, December 3rd, we're asking alumni and friends to help
keep this experience alive. Any amount you can donate, even $5, will help
fund lessons, subsidize competition costs more, and ensure Scotch Ball
remains a highlight for our members. Thank you for your support and

Reminder Details

Payment Information:

We hope you are having a great time taking lessons with us! Your first two
lessons (excluding rush) are free. After that, we ask that students pay $40
and non-students pay $90 in membership dues. This amount covers all the
lessons we offer for the entire Fall semester.

Please bring cash or a check to the table at the door or follow these
instructions to pay online. As a reminder, we cannot accept Venmo or Zelle
because of university policy.
