Hello ballroom friends,

Welcome back!

Been waiting to join but not sure when? Have a friend you’ve been dying to
drag to ballroom? Now’s the PERFECT time. For two reasons:

   1.

   For dancers joining after Fall Break, lesson prices will be HALF OFF! That
   means $20 for students, $45 for non-students. (Note: this doesn’t apply if
   you’ve attended 2+ lessons prior to Fall Break)
   2.

   Jim’s starting a new set of lessons this week, Hustle on Mondays and
   Nightclub Two-Step on Wednesdays.

Costume Rounds + American Rounds

This week, wear your competition costumes on Monday and Wednesday for
rounds in preparation for DCDI! This is great for getting into the
competition mindset and practicing dealing with performance nerves.
Additionally, on Wednesday at 9pm we’ll be running American style (smooth +
rhythm) rounds.

Repeats

OSU Video Review

After comps, we like to get together (with pizza! 🍕) to review the
competition videos. It’s a good chance to celebrate our accomplishments,
but also reflect on what our goals are for improvement. You are encouraged
to invite constructive feedback from your teammates, and you should
definitely give out some compliments to your favorite dancers!

We’ll be at the Class of ‘87 conference room located on the second floor of
the CUC. Video review will run from 7:30 - 9:30 on Tuesday, 10/24.

Payments:

Students owe $40, non-students owe $90 (unless you start the week Fall
Break or later, then it is half off). This one-time payment covers all
lessons through the end of Fall. We accept cash or check, paid at the front

Sensual Bachata Workshop @ Los Sabrosos

fundamental techniques to execute the fluid movements of the popular
Sensual Bachata style. This class focuses on how to prepare to lead sensual
moves and the cues follows need to recognize to complete them.
