[CMU Ballroom Dance Club]

Hello ballroom friends,

Picking apples and making pie definitely makes it feel like it’s officially
Fall 😍🍁

You know what else makes it officially Fall? We’re switching to a new set
of veteran-taught lessons this week! If you or a friend have been waiting
for an opportunity to jump into our lessons, now is a great time. On
Mondays, we’re offering American Foxtrot lessons. On Wednesdays, we’re
offering East Coast Swing. All oriented towards newcomers. Per usual, no
experience or partner necessary!

Payments:

Students owe $40, non-students owe $90. This one-time payment covers all
lessons through the end of Fall. We accept cash or check, paid at the front

Community Events

Workshop: Call and Response instead of Lead and Follow @ Apasionado Dance

October 13th, 8:30pm at the Wightman Center. $20, or $10 for students. Call
and Response is a music and dance idea common in all African Diaspora music
and dance, which includes the vast majority of partner dance styles and
nearly all Western Hemisphere musics. Learn how this idea can improve your
partner dancing skills by teaching you when to listen and when to speak
(for both partners).
