Hello ballroom friends,

All new dances start this week with our veteran-taught lesson series! It’s
time for V-Waltz Mondays and West Coast Wednesdays. Bring your friends at
8:25 this week to get them started with these newcomer-friendly lessons.

If you’re a dancer who competes, Christine is looking for volunteers to
dance with a group during an event this Saturday, 11/18. If you’re
interested, please reach out to her for more details by this Wednesday,
11/15.

Winter Showcase [ACTION REQUIRED 11/28]:

After the success and popularity of our Spring Showcase, we’ve decided to
do it again for Winter!

Grab a partner and show us your most fun choreography. Toss in all those
open level moves you’ve seen at comps! The haters won’t let you do a dip in
bronze syllabus competitions, but this is a showcase so do whatever you
want. Or: don’t grab a partner, show us your dance expertise in another
genre! In previous showcases we’ve had Irish Dance, Kpop routines,
juggling, and so much more, so don’t hold back.

We’ll be hosting the showcase in Rangos on Monday, December 4 from 9-9:30 pm
(during our usual social time). Sign-up with this form by November 28th.

Holiday Gift Exchange [ACTION REQUIRED 11/20]:

You are cordially invited to our holiday gift exchange and potluck on
Friday, December 8 from 7-9pm in UC Danforth Lounge! If you want to

Payments:

Students owe $40, non-students owe $90 (unless you start the week Fall
Break or later, then it is half off). This one-time payment covers all
lessons through the end of Fall. We accept cash or check, paid at the front
table. If you want to pay online/by card, please follow these instructions

Community Events

Thankful to be Dancing Social @ Wightman School Community Building

November 18th with DJ and instructor Chris Drum. 7pm tango lesson, social
from 8 - 10:30pm. Bring snacks to share! Flyer attached.

Lead/Follow Lessons and Supervised Practice @ Night & Day Dance Studio

November 19th, Christine and Jimmy are teaching lessons and hosting
supervised practices at Night & Day Dance Studio! Lesson at 4pm, supervised
practice from 5 - 5:30pm. To reserve your spot, contact Christine at
