Hello ballroom friends,

Thanks everyone who came out to our clothing exchange last Friday :) We
hope you all had a wonderful time and got some nice clothes out of it!

If you’ve been enjoying this semester and want to get more involved in the
club, we have an opportunity for you to get involved in a minor role to see
if joining board next year would be a good fit. Please take the time to

Secretary’s Assistant:

If you: (1) Have/Will have an Andrew ID in Spring 2024, (2) would love to
click "submit" on a form every week or so to help make room reservations,
and ideally, (3)  are interested in taking over as Secretary in the
2024/2025 school year, we want YOU to volunteer as Secretary Assistant for
Spring of 2024.

Here's the situation: I, the current secretary, am graduating this
semester. I'll still be in Pittsburgh and able to fulfill most of my roles
as secretary, but I won't be allowed to submit room reservations anymore.
As such, we’d love to get someone involved who might be interested in
taking over the job next year!

This job is simple and straightforward, looks good on a resume, and is a
great way to get a sense of what I do on the board if you want to take over

Winter Showcase:

After the success and popularity of our Spring Showcase, we’ve decided to
do it again for Winter!

Grab a partner and show us your most fun choreography. Toss in all those
open level moves you’ve seen at comps! The haters won’t let you do a dip in
bronze syllabus competitions, but this is a showcase so do whatever you
want. Or: don’t grab a partner, show us your dance expertise in another
genre! In previous showcases we’ve had Irish Dance, Kpop routines,
juggling, and so much more, so don’t hold back.

We’ll be hosting the showcase in Rangos on Monday, December 4 from 9-9:30 pm
(during our usual social time).

Holiday Gift Exchange:

You are cordially invited to our holiday gift exchange and potluck on
Friday, December 8 from 7-9pm in UC Danforth Lounge! The deadline has
passed to sign up for the gift exchange part, but you can certainly still
join us to socialize.


Resources

Payments:

Students owe $40, non-students owe $90 (unless you start the week Fall
Break or later, then it is half off). This one-time payment covers all
lessons through the end of Fall. We accept cash or check, paid at the front
