Hello ballroom friends!

The dancing season starts now, hurray!! We are so excited to see you all
back here.

It’s a busy week this week: RUSH, Standard review with Christine, and Latin
Auditions with Dmitry (if you haven’t signed up for auditions, do so ASAP).
For Christine’s review session, please attend at the level you are
auditioning at. You may additionally attend one level below.

[ACTION REQUIRED: 9/5] Officer Elections: CMU BDC is a student run
organization, which means it’s folks like YOU who keep this club dancing!
This year, we need to elect a Competition Team Captain, an Events
Coordinator, and a Media Manager. Learn more about the roles here

[ACTION REQUIRED: 9/11 & 9/18] OSU Commitment Forms: We’re going to the OSU
DanceSport Classic in Columbus, OH! Car groups will be leaving the
afternoon/evening of Friday, September 29th and returning late Saturday
night, September 30th. No past competition experience required, newcomers
welcome! Please fill out the individual commitment form

taught lessons ABOVE the Newcomer level, you must sign up for auditions before

and 9/5 (Standard), details on form. Please contact Abby at agq at cmu.edu if
you have any questions, and let us know sooner rather than later if you
have a conflict with your audition time. Please arrive at least ten minutes
before your audition time and make sure to check in with Abby the day of as
well.

Volunteer Instructors Needed: Calling all veteran dancers! We need
volunteers to teach our veteran-taught dance lessons! If you are interested
in teaching, please fill out this form.

Rush:

RUSH!! We want to see everyone there! The more dancers come, the more fun
we’ll have, and the more fun we’ll have, the more new dancers will want to
join the best club at CMU ;)
