Hope you guys are excited for Spring Break and for Arnold! We have some
exciting news coming your way. See below for more information!



General Announcements:



Membership Dues: For those of you that attended at least two lessons and
would like to continue, lessons are due this upcoming week! $40 for
students. $80 for non-students. Cash or check to the tablers at lessons.



Scotch Ball Registration: Scotch Ball is officially back! We invite all of
CMU's undergrads, graduate students, faculty, and alumni, as well as CMUBDC
members and friends, to join us for this year's Scotch Ball. Wear your best
gowns and suits for an evening of dancing, hors d'oeuvres, showcases, and a
chance to explore Phipps under strings of bistro lights. Reserve tickets

those that purchased a ticket!!*

Rounds Information (Come Early!): This week, we will be running non-partner
rounds for a newcomer to pair up with a veteran and get more comfortable
with the dances and structure of rounds. Especially for newcomers, it’s a
great time to practice what you’ve learned and dance aside from lesson
times. Please come by at 7:20 for rounds :) We also will be hosting late
rounds across all dances and all four styles.



Note for this semester’s other events:

April 1-3: USADance Amateur and Collegiate National Championships IN
PITTSBURGH! (more details later). For any ADULT ONLY (non-collegiate)
partnerships, please reach out to McKenzie van der Hagen (
mckenziv at andrew.cmu.edu) asap to potentially catch some early registration
discounts.
