[CMUBDC] Ballroom Dance Club - Pre-Semester Update (Rush and Auditions)

[CMU Ballroom Dance Club]

Hello ballroom friends,

The Fall semester is starting soon, and that means that Fall Rush is coming
up! It will be held from 7:00-9:00 PM in Rangos Ballroom during the first
two weeks of the semester (see the schedule below). We’ll be holding free
beginner lessons for new dancers, along with showcases from veteran
dancers. If you’re a returning member of the club, please plan to attend as
much as possible to help recruit new members. Hope to see you there!

We also will be holding auditions for the intermediate and advanced-level
classes. Standard auditions are only required for those who want to move
into a higher-level class than they were previously in, but we are
requiring all intermediate/advanced dancers to audition for Latin. If you
are unable to make the audition time for your level, please let a board
member know.

For veteran dancers, there are two other recruitment events that we could
use your help at:

   -

   Orientation Lessons - Saturday, August 27 at 5:15 - 6:45 PM (Keeler
   Studio)
   -

      We’ll be teaching beginner American Tango and Cha-Cha lessons for
      incoming students, and would appreciate having some veterans in the crowd!
      -

   The FAIR - Wednesday, September 7 at 4:15 - 6:30 PM (The Cut)
   -

      We’ll be tabling along with other CMU clubs, if you can attend to
      help recruit for some part of the time!



Finally, the regular weekly lessons schedule for the Fall is below.
Standard lessons will be on Mondays and Latin lessons will be on
Wednesdays. If you’re an experienced dancer and are willing to teach
