[CMU Ballroom Dance Club]

Hello Ballroom Friends,



Thank you to everyone who came for Nationals! Fun fact, we got 3rd place in
the nation for total points, so amazing job to everyone!! We had a lot of
fun as a team, and we can’t wait for future comps (hint hint BAM Jam). As
always, read on for more information!

General Announcements:



Membership Dues: For those of you that attended at least two lessons and
would like to continue, lessons are due this upcoming week! $20 for
students. $40 for non-students. Cash or check to the tablers at lessons.



Annual Spring Showcase: We’re having our annual spring showcase Saturday,
April 23rd in Rangos! Dancers of all levels are welcome and encouraged to
participate, so feel free to sign up here

Deadline to fill out the interest form is TOMORROW (April 4) at midnight.



Officer Applications: Officer applications are open! Forms are due Monday,
April 11th at 10pm. Elections will be held Wednesday, April 13th at 9:30pm

Alumni Half-hour Signups: For the next three days, we have some very
exciting half-hour lessons available with some incredibly supportive alums!
They are all open level dancers who got started in our club as beginners

BAM Jam: Nationals are done, but we are not! We will also be going to BAM
Jam as a team on April 16th! More info here

forms are due THIS WEDNESDAY (April 6) and payment is due next Monday
(April 11).

Rounds & Late Rounds: Please come to Rounds at 7:20pm both Monday and
Wednesday! It is a great time to practice what you’ve learned in lessons,
watch veteran dancers, and get introduced to what a competition might look
like. Late Rounds will also be occurring on Monday at 10:30pm! Rounds this
week are International and American styles.
