Hi Ballroom friends,

Happy first week of classes! Read on for info on lessons and events we have
coming up:

Lessons
Another reminder to sign up for lessons if you're interested in taking
them! They will be mostly virtual with a few opportunities to be in person.

Today is the first day of lessons for those who have already signed up! *Unlike
last semester, the Zoom links will be included in each weekly email instead
of being sent out separately. *

for lessons:

*1. If you sign up for the lesson, show up for the lessons: please follow
through with your commitments.*
2. Be respectful and follow proper Zoom etiquette: *Muted unless you are
asking a question. **Feel free to keep your video on.*
3. Do not share the Zoom link outside of those who have signed up for the
specific lesson. *If you know someone who would like to join, please let me
know*.

We want to get you guys dancing again, so we are starting occasional dance
challenges! Record yourself dancing to some short routines

enthusiastic submission will receive a *$50 Amazon gift card*, so send your

*9 PM* Ballroom Rush: Virtual Spring 2021 edition (Event link

Rush has been reinvented. We realize that dancing virtually isn't a great
draw, so this semester we are going to focus on making friends and doing
fun things. We really hope you will all consider coming to this event,
veterans and newcomers alike.

Valentine's day is rapidly approaching! Seeing as how the New Year's social
was so much fun, we decided to host another one! Stay tuned for more
details in the coming days.

We will also be starting up our Movie Nights again with the first one of
the semester tentatively planned for Saturday, 2/13. Stay tuned for more
details on this as well.
