[CMUBDC] Ballroom Lessons - Week of 3/2 (Also, Crowdfunding!)

Hello Ballroom friends,

We are *crowdfunding* to take our team to the *National Collegiate
Dancesport Championships*, and we need all of you to help us make it
happen. Our *goal is $5000* and we have* already raised $895*! Please send
this link to your friends and family and tell them about why it's important
to you, why you dance, and why we need your help. This trip is heckin'

Please Note: Next week is Spring Break, the week of 3/9. There will be NO
lessons that week.
Also, *CMU Ballroom elections* are coming up once again. Whether or not you
are thinking of running for a position, please attend the election to help
us decide the future of the club!

Officers are responsible for deciding on all aspects of club function
including but not limited to lessons offered, instructors hired, fees
charged, events organized, and competitions participated in. If you
want to *apply
for an officer position*, applications will be accepted until *Monday,
March 9, at 12:00 PM (noon)*.  Please read the descriptions of elected

All membership card holders (from F19/S20) are eligible to attend the
elections and/or cast their vote.  All membership card holders who are CMU
students are eligible to run for office. To sign up to *run as a
candidate *(for

Elections will be held *Wednesday, March 18, 2019 at 9:30 pm in the
Danforth Conference Room*. Even if you’re not running, come to elections
and cast your vote for the individuals you think would be the most
qualified to make these decisions to benefit all of you!

The form must be filled out per individual. If you are paying for multiple

**Beginner dancers*: We recommend you attend both the professionally taught
newcomer lessons and the student taught beginner lessons. This membership
only costs a *flat $35 for students*, covering the entire semester! For
non-students, this fee is $80.

*Socials: Free* for CMU Students; Starting at $10, -$5 for members, -$5 for
